Grey — The Representation Acts Amendment Bill ; Mr Vincent Pyke — The P-ivate Schools Bills ; Mr Perceval— Tha Gaming and Lotteries Act 1881 Amend- i ment Bill ; Hon l£r Fergus— The Counties Act Amendment Bill, the Gold Duty Abolition and Mining Companies Act Amendment Bill,, the Westport and Greymouth Harbo'ar Boards Dissolution Bill, the Wes'cport Ng&kawau Kailway Extension Bi'u ; Mr Guinness— The Borough of Brunr&x Enabling Act 1889 Amendment Bill; Mr Feldwick— The Otago School Commissioners Empowering Bill; Hon Captain Bussell— The Civil Service Officers' Guarantee Bill, the Jures Act Amendment Bill, the Police Offences Act Amendment Bill, the Dentists Act Amendment Bill, the Census Act Amendment Bill. Oil the Supreme Court Amendment Bill going into a Committee a long discussion took place on the appointment of Mr Edwards and progress only was reported at a quarter to 9. The Bankruptcy Bill was read a first time. The Minister of Education moved that the Waste Lands Committee inquire into allegations of dummyisim stated to exist in Canterbury, and agreed to. The Supply Debate occupied the rest of the evening and ?he House rose at 12.10.
