"Word has just come to town that some time last night the scutching shed at Messrs Jack & Co'a mill was burnt. Besides th« shed aud scut chers about two tons of fibre was also Imrnt. The net has all th« appearance of incendiarism of a very spiteful nature as the c'oset on the ground was entered and defied in a disgusting manner.
