Warden Cald well remarked that unless there was plenty oi' rain Mr Akei-rf d.;peiidt-'d solely lor his wati-r consumptioa on the M.-u.awatu river. He alao r- fened to the Ba ues c fl.ix case, wliich ha<l againat Messrs Dunk and Collins at, AVeiliugton, recently, and said ho considered tho Foxtoa Borough Council wt-re quite justifiei in taking actiun iv the matter Warden Liddell expressed himself opposed to the river being polluted by sewage.
