It is undarstood th ->'t in the rearrangement of electoral districts, 12 will disappear from the Sou'h Island and nine from the North, while the names of some others have been altered. Among those are:—Rodney, Coromande!. one of the Franklyns, Waipa, Taurfmga. Taranaki, Foxton, Manawatu, "Woodville, Moteuka; Kumeroa, Oheviot. Linwood, St. Albans, Bjdenham, Akaroa Rangittfca, Gladstone, Wnikemoa Dunatan, Waikoiu, Hokonui, Peninsula, Carerßham. The boundaries, will be settled to-day, bat the mapi iriil not be ready till next week. " iV - ;: Palmbrston the new Namb. The new electoral boundaries of Palmerston comprises the whole of the county of Horowh&noa, (he boroughs of Pairnerstor. North and Foxton, the ridings of Taonui and Fitzherbert of the county Oroua, the whole of the county of Mftnawatu,

Banoitikei takes a bit of old ElecTRATI Bangitikei comprises the boroughs of Marton and Feilding, the Ridings of Maungaraupi, Clifton, and Eangitoto, of the County of Eangitikei, and the lower portion of the Porewa Biding of the same county which is not included within the boundaries of the Waitotarar Electoral District, together with\J&a; whole ol the Connty of Oroua, less the ridings of Taonui and {Fitzherberfc of that counry. This district includes also the Mount Stuart riding of the County of Manawatu, and that portion of the Sandon riding of the same county, which is situate to the north of the road from Sanson to the Eangitikei river, via the Pakapakatea Native blopk. .
