NOTICE, is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council held at the Public Library at Foxton on THURSDAY, the 6th of February, 1890, a resolution was adopted making a By-Law defining th* words " carts " and " carters " and providing for the licensing and numbering of all carts standing plying or being used or kept for hire, or engaged or employed for hire, or reward for the carriage of goods either within the Borough or between any place or places within a distance of five miles from the Borough Boundary, and any place or places within the Borough and providing a penalty for every breach of such By-law. The said resolution will be considered by the Council at a meeting to be held at the Public Library aforesaid on, Monday the 10th of March 1890 at 8 o'clock in the evening.
