MESSRS F. B. JACKSON AND COS JOHNSONVILLE REPORT. Wednesday Jan. 15. Fat cattle came forward in usurl numbers. The. demand was leas active than last week :"prices therefore receded somewhat. Veal calves were dull of sale. Pat sheep in average supply ; sound useful wethers, which, however, were rather uneven in size, being among those penned. Competition for this class of stock was also eisier. Cattle— Bullocks £4 12s Gi to £5 17s 6A ; average, £5. Veal cslves, 53 6dto 12s. Sheep— Fat wethers, 10a 3d ; fat owe-. 7s 5d io 93 2d ; 2-tooth breeding ewes 8s 4d. Pigs — large baconers, £3 to £2 103; others, 2Ss to 35s ; good porkers, 20s ; large stores IS* ; others, 13a 6d. Ox beef, 12s (id to 13s the 1001 b ; wether inu*ton, l^J per lb; ewe do, !£.
