Cr McKenzie remarked, in sup. port of ibis resolution, that; separa" tioh must inevitably take place, and he ; thought • the Wanganui ,people were anxious ,to get the new build- ( [ ing put up before separation toolc p-ace, and this district would nev< r ' get a refund of its expenditure^ On the Wanpanui building.
