"QUEEN OF THE SOUTH."

Another addition to our regular' traders has been made by the purchase of the s.s. Queen of the *outh, which is a vessel of 12i tons net register, 198 gross, and 200 dead weight carrying capacity, on a draught of 8 feet. She was Vnilt at Paisley by Messrs M'lntyre & Co. in 1877, and is classed 100 Al ftt Lloyds. Her dimensions are length 120' ft, beam 22ft, and depth of hold Bffc ; her engines are 40 h.p. giving • a speed of 9 knots an hour, and her cabin afford aocomodation for 21 saloon and 12 steerage. She has lately been trading in the Clarence, Richmond and M'Leay rivers, N. S. W., and was recently purchased by Captain Harvey in Sydney. She will take up a regular running to tlrs port. Mr Young is her agent.
