Nimmo) Napoleon by George Buchanan's Emperor, out of Nancy, bred by Alexander Finlay, Esq., Sandyhills netr Glasgow. ' Nancy, by the celebrated Garnary horse, her dam by Scotsman. I Conqueror took the first prize as a two . year old at the Blueskin show, and second f prize for all comers and aged horses at the same show ; and at Oamaru tbe following year took second prize as a three yeir old 9 in a field of nine competitors. At five year - old he took first prize at Timarn, and spec ial prize of 12 guineas as a colonial bred L i horse to stnnd in the district that season.
