Wilson, Tame and Co, and the cross actions, are concluded, The bank claimed £2507 15s lid due on an overdraft and on bills. lathe cross-action, Wilson, Tame and Co* claimed £10,000 damages for injury to their credit through the bank naming dishonoured :their . cheques; toti-imX bKHight while their woo 1 account was in funds. The two actions were 1 for the sake of cdnveni* enee, heard at once. Mr Hagget, with Mr F. R. Chapman, appeared for the tank; Sir R. Stout, with. Mr J. McGwger, for Wilson, Tame and Co. The counsel addressed the jury, and Mr Justice Williams summed up, and the jury afterao absence of three hoars, returned a verdict giving Wilson, Ta : ne and Co. damages for £5000, the bank: getting a verdict in the other case. The bank will get altogether for the overdraft, overdue hills, etc; roughly about £3500, and Wilson, Tame and Co. therefore receive £1500.
