Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Foxton Borough Council at its meeting to be held on Monday, the 3rd day of June next, to strike a General Rate of fifteen pence in the pound sterling, under the Rating Act, 1876. Also a Special Library Rate of one penny in the pound sterling, on the rateable value of all properties within the Foxton Borough Council district. Such rate to be for one year from l*t April, 1889, to the 31st March, 1890, to becone due and payable on the 4th June, 1889, at the office of the Foxton Borough Council, where the Rate Book is now open for inspection.
