♦ FOXTON AUTUMN MEETING. The following aooeptanoes have been received for the js>ptf e :—- --HANDICAP HtTEDIisS..

Notes by "Nebvuje." The acceptances for the Foxton Autumn meeting appear above, and the fields left 'in speak very highly of the abilities of the Com mittee in their allocation of the weights. All have accepted ia the Hurdle Eace, five out of nine in the Autumn Handicap, and eight out of the twelve have cried content in the Publican's Purse. The course is in very good order, except for one slight patch of heavy going for about a hundred yards in the cutting just past the stand, and if the weather remains fine some good racing should be witnessed. The meeting opens wi h the Hurdle Race, which should prove very interesting at the finish. I do not think Mr Scott will start Ahua, as he has a much better chance of appropriating the big race. I shall place them g-ekmaine Armoubeb The Autumn Handicap, of H miles, I think will be a toss up which will catch the judge's eye first. On their Feilding running nothing pleases me better than \htta Camomile Cupid The Publicans Purse will greatly depend on the result ot the Autumn Handicap, as most of the nags will have run in that race, with the exception of Peter, Armourer, and Phitea. I shall select Cupid ' Camomile Ahua The acceptances for the Hack Races are not due until tomorrow, on the cour-e, but as a large number are already quartered in town, the fields ought to be numerous. For the Hack Hurdles I like Rustic, and as he has almost a feather weight he should win easily. The Hack Flat will be a matoh between the three j top wttgkti* with Miitftk* ferotoiMi
