I LONDON.
The newspaper United Ireland warns the Scotch Ulster tenants that they will probably be massacred if they take possession of farms from which tenants have been evicted. Mr J. Morley, member for New-oastle-on-Tyne, expresses himself in favour of the adoption of the eight hours system, if it can be secured without recourse to Parliament. General Boulanger wi 1 visit London, and will stay at the Bristol Hotel, Burlington Gardens. It is ex pected that Boulanger will remain in England for some time. It has been decided to open the Exhibition on May 6th. The Dai y Chronicle states that Bismarck is trying to arrange an Anglo-German Alliance, England's parjb being to proteot German colonies in case of war with France. The Chronicle further says it is reported that Lord Salisbury is inclined to look with favour on the prop >sal, provided Germany will make a .Russian advance on Constantinople or Herat a casus belli. The Queen pays a visit to Baron Rothschild m the middle of May.
