MESSRS P. R. JACKSON AND COS ■-.'. STOCK REPORT. JoHNSc.mi.LE, April 2. I. R.Jackson _nd Co.'s report on the Johnßonvii(e stock sale yesterday !— Beef oime forward today in average supply. The entry was equally divided between a linn of small bullocks and some of the primest oa tie we hare yarded for some considerable time. Bidding . started well and was maintained with vigour throughout, aord prices improved as the sale progressed. The small bullocks were very youog, »nd showed good quality. The sheep entered (with the exception of one small line of wethers turned out unsold) wei-e fdr iW po^B part well fatted ewn». No lambs ca^ne- forward. Pig» were fairly vepieseuted, sad made late rates, confirming the easier prices recently obtained for stores and porkers. Beef made 12s 6d the 1001 b; ewe mutton, 1^1 ; bullocks, from L 5 10s to L 4 17s 6d, averaging L 5 13s; small steers, £3 5a to A' 4 12s 6d, averaging£ 3 12s 2d. Sheeo—Fat ewes, 9i 10il to 10* ; 'ighier weights, 8h Id to 8s 3d. Pigs— B oonere, 29s to 40* ; large porkera, 20< 61 to 24« fid ; others, 14s 9d to 17* ; stores, 7s to 11. 6J ; smaller Sorts, 4s 6dto6i9J.
