A most desirable nito has been acquired for the Magdalen near Christ church. 2 His Eminence Cardinal M< ran laid l\o foundation-stone at "Mount Mag* dala " on the 18th of February of last year in the presence of 5000 people, and the first portion of the Asylum is near y complettd. . • • 3. The advantages of the Magdalen will be extended !to all New Zealand and elnewbere. ! ! 4.
