LOST.
It is currently reported in town to day tbat some enterprising firm of Hemp Millers have stolen the " Wallaby" the County's motor, in whioh to start a mill. The train did not arrive on Wednesday, nor to-day and evidently the whole force of County officials are about In search of her, as no cause for her delay, or word about he* probable running has been made known. This augi gestion has also been supported by our not having heard from the Tramway Manager to whom we wired, the first thing this morning for tidings. Seriously however, it is a thorough neglect of the^ convenience of the publio that no intimation has been made about the cause of the line ceasing to run. We know of many put to much inconvenience. Since the above was in type we have received the following wire : Wallaby's tubes leaking, and is tak ing longer to repair than was ex* pected. Will run on Monday as usual. . .
