Foxton Racing Club.
Committee Meeting. A meeting of the above Club held on February 11th. Present— Messrs Bailey, Gray, Jas. Purcell, T. Purcell, and the Secretary (F. Andrews), Mr T. Purcell occupied the chair. The following renolutions were agreed to:— Proposed by Mr Bailey, seconded by Mr Gray— That a tfintermeeting be held on Saturday 4th May. Proposed by Mr Bailey, seconded by Mr T. Purcell that the Sec. be in* atructed to write to Mr Robinson and ask him 'to remove the sheep. Proponed by Mr Gray, seconded by Mr Bailey — That no gallops in future be allowed on the course proper, and " the Secretary be instructed to write to Mr Gray and have the course put in order. The following r. programme was drawn tap — Handicap Hurdle Race, £80 ; pack Hurdles, £10 ; Antomn Handicap, LSO ; Hack Selling Race, Lls ; Hack Race LlO ; Publican's Handicap, L80; Handicap Hack Race, LlO. The Pony Kace was abolished. '
