""♦ : The usual monthly meeting of the above Board, was held on Saturday at the residence of the Chairman at Wirokino. Present — Messrs: J. Kebbell, J. M'Donftld, F. The following resolutions were unanimously agreed to. > That the sum of £5 be paid to Mr JCaipuya being the remainder of the compensation g^anfed by the Board for removing building and fences off the Piaka road line. That the action of the Chairman in agreeing to give Mr Bowie an extra amount on the Piaka road contraot, being, value of timber he had miscalculated when making up the amount of his tender be endorsed. That theengineer preparespecifica* iions for metaUing about 30 chains ofthe Muhunoaroad west of Kawapango creek also about 10 chains on* theeastern banl? of the same creek, 14 yards of metajLj'to ,be put •\o th& 'chain ah(i spread /.five feet . oh each ; side oi the centre, line.
