MESSRS F. R. JACKSON AND COS STOCK REPORT. Johnsonville, Jan. 3. At the yards to-day a moderate supply of beef came forward, meeting with a fair demand. The bullocks were of medium quality and light in weight. The cows were a good lot. Sheep were yarded in average supply, but lambs were in fewer nnmbers, Tbe pigs ad< vertiged did not come to band. Bullock beef made 13a tbe 1031bs, and cow 11s ; mutton, l£d to 2d per lb. Cattle.— Bullocks made from £4 17s 6d to £5 12s 6d, averaging .£5 ss ; cows, from £3 12s 6d to L 4 2a 6d, averaging L3l7s, lOd. Sheep.— Beat wethers, 10s Id to 10; ' 4A ; best ewes, 9s ; others, 7s 3d to 8s lambs, 5s lOd to Bs. London, Jan. 3. The rates of freight by sailing ships are unaltered Vessels are very scarce. Tbe following are the latest quota" tions for frozen meat :--Australian mutton, 3|d ; New Zealand mutton, 3f- ; beef, 8i to 4cl.
