The ,s.'s. Tui, Ciptatn Wills, arrivedfrom Wellington and Sou thorn, ports on Friday ';last. She left the .follpwintj day for Opunake, taking a cargo of 17,000 feet of timber. The steamer Jane D.-mgla", Captain Frasqr,- arrived from Wellington last Friday. $he sailed next clay for Wellington and Lyttelton, taking a cargo of sheep for the former place, and 7,000 feet of timber for the latter. The schooner Emerald left Napier on Wednesday last, aud entered the Mana•watu Itiver on Sunday, making the wharf yesterday morning ; experienced fine weather throughout the passage.
