Tears here choked her utterance, and that young mas couldn't concentrate enough meanness : in -himself to tell the old woman that. she misunder^ stood him ; and she SKdh'fc give him any time either, for she left the -rooni ; before he h*fc time -to speak. The young fellow now. wants to know if' it would be better for him to marry the girl, or realise on his bag* of tools and clear out. - . .
