At a meeting held at Christchnrch yesterday it was resolved to erect a monument to the memory of Dr Campbell and family, who perished in the Tararua. Telegrams received from Cooktown today state that the steamship Glamis Castle has arrived there from Hong Kong with 850 Chinese, most of whom are en route for New Zealand. The Tui sails tonight for Opunake, Taranaki, and AVaitara, via Foxton.
