Wednesday, March IG, 1881. (Before I!. Ward, Esq., 1J..M.) CHIMNEY ON EIRE. John Futter, charged with allowing his chimney to catch tire, admitted the offence and was fined 5s and costs, 7s. Tim waß all the police business. civil cases. John Purcell v. S. Cann. — Claim £2 93 9d, for meat supplied. No appearance of defendant. Judgmeut for plaintiff foamouut and costs, 13s, to ba paid in two mouths. A. S. Eastou v. T. Lee.— Claim £5 4s 2d, for meat supplied. Judgment for amount and costs, lis. All the otber cases down for hearing were either settled oufc of Court or withdrawn.
