♦ The Board met at Wanganui on. Wed* nesda; last. We take the following precis of business transacted from the Wanganui Herald :— Master Tompkins was appointed cadet at Halcombe School. Application from Mr F. Whitcombe received, and it was resolved, that he be requested to forward his testimonials, and if deemed satisfactory, the same to he for* warded to the Campbelltown Committee, , together with those or all other available : applicants. < An application for desks for Earere 1 sohool was granted. <
