The steamer Jane Douglas arrived from Wellington on Tuesday last, at 1 p.m. having experienced rough head weather all the way. She left again at 10 a.m. on Wednesday for Wellington via Rangitikei The.s.B. Stormbird,. from Wellington, with a number of excursionists for the Regatta, arrived at 9.30 on Wednesday morning. She sailed on the return trip at 11 _____ yesterday. The a.s. Tui left Wellington at 5.15 p.m. on Wednesday ; anchored off the bar afc 3 a. m, yesterday ; crossed ot 9.15 am. and arrived at wharf 10 a.m. The Tui sailed again for southern ports at 10 o'clock last night. The schooner Bee will complete her loading of timber for Lyttelton to-day, and sail on the first opportunity. The steamers Jane Douglas and Storm* bird are advertised to leave Wellington for Foxton this evening.
