"ATTENTION !"

TO THK KDITOR OF THK AIAXAWAW HERALD. ftrn, — When taking a stroll down the wharf on Sunday last I was greatly disgusted at seeing iud in'Aung a number of bullock's hides that were lying alongside the rails, about ten yards from the niain thoroughfare. This is about the best walk we have in Foxtonj and. it <$ intolerable that a riiass 01 stinking hides should be left to pollute the air in such a conspicuous and much frequented place on Sunday. It is to be hoped that a little more attention will bo given to such matters on future occasino3 by those in charge of the wkarf. I amj &c;; Paterfamilias. Foxton, February 14, 1881.
