The Steamer Storrabird, Captain Dawßon, left Wellington on Thursday evening and arrived at Foxtoo next morning. Started on the retnrn trip at 9 p.m., but on reach ing the mouth of tht river the pilot refuseJ to let her out ; returned to the wharf about 11 30 p. in, and raudo another start next morniujr, but was tvgttin compelled to return to the wharf ; sturted for the third time ou Sauday morning, and thi3 time got over tho bar. She arrived at "Wellington ou Sunday ni-ht. It is reported the Union Cotmany is building a steamer specially adapted for the Manawitu trade.
