I 25 sectif-ns of agricultural land situate in the JLiwitea block, Manawam, varying in area between 150 and 320 acres, will be offered for sale at public auction at the Land Office, Wellington, at noon on Tuesday, the 23rd day of November, 1880, at the upset price of 21s and 27s 6d per acre, for caeh. Also, 8 sections in the same block, varying between 124 and 210 acres ut the tame place, will bo open to purchase on deferred payments, at 30s per acre, by application on Wednesday, the 24th day ©f November, 1880. If two or moro applications are put in on the same day for the same section, it will be put up to auction between the applicants on the day following. Note. — Tho land is sihiate 10 miles from Feilding and 8 miles from Halcombe, and is connected thereto by good roads. Each section is accessible, the timber on the road-lines within the blocks having beon felled, and 33ft. of roadway cleared. The soil is good all over, level and undulating, some portion hilly, covered with forest, mixed quality. Maps and schedules can be seen at the office of this paper, and copies ob* tamed by application at the Land Office, Wellington. At the public auction on the 23rd November the lease for 14 ypars of suburban section No. 122, Featherston, containing 5 acres, will be offei ed for sale, the lessee to surrender (if required; without compensation ; the rent to be paid yearly in advance.
