The Tui, on her last trip, nude the run from Foxton to Wellington in nine hoars. The Oreti arrived from Wauganui .on Friday morning, having left Wanganui the previous evening. She got away on Monday for Lyttelton and other southern ports, taking with her a cargo of sleepers. The s.s. Jane Dowlas, from Wellington, Kaikoura, and Lytttlton, arrived in port shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday. She left again for Wellington at 12 45 p.m. yesterday. The schooner Emerald has made a fast trip this time She left here on the 28th ultimo, for Lyttelton, and returned to port yesterday, having left that port on Saturday evening. The schooner Aspasia arrived yesterday from Lyttelton. She left there on Saturday afternoon. She has a cargo of wheat for Mr Chamberlaio, Foilding. The schooner Owake may be expected in port from Greymouth, coal laden.
