Melboubne, Thursday. , In the Legislative Council last night, a Bill introduced by Sir Chas. Sladen, one of the members of the Council, for reform of .the Constitution, was read a second time. Melbourne ig now thronged with visitors from the country districts, the neighbouring colonies, and New Zealand. It is expected that Murray-Smith will lead the Opposition in the Assembly after the departure of Service for England.
