* Sydney, Monday. A most destructive fire broke out at AVagga Wagga at midnight on Friday, and completely destroyed the Masonic Hall and several adjoining buildings. The damage is estimated at £10,000, which is fully insured. The fire raged for five hours. The latest advices from Hong Kong state that the steamer Brisbane had to put back, having damaged her steeling gear in a heavy gale. Her boats were washed overboard, and the decks completely swept. It is further stated that the necessary repairs would occupy five days. Brisbane, Monday. A fire broke out here at 11 p.m. on Saturday, in premises of Bolan, draper, in Queen-street. The flames spread to an adjoining ironmonger's establishment, and the fire ■was only extinguished great difficulty. The insurances include £850 in the Eoyal Imperial *nd Colonial Companies of New Zealand, besides £5250 in other offices.
