A lengthy discussion took place upon the , desirability of removing 1 portion of the sandhill on the west side of the Aver.ue I bridge. The opinion of the Board was that I thy work was most necessary, but it wav p also thought; desirable to utilise the stulF . which will bo taken from tho hill in [ forming the neighbouring roads to Norbiton 3 and past Mr Stevens' Lou«o.
