THE MOUTOA SCHOOL.
,' TO THE EIUTOB OF THE MVNAWATU HERALD. | ?ir, — 111 Friday's issue, I noticed [ a letter signed by W. E. Howe,} in . which he states a letter was react at t a meeting of the Education Board, ' stating the cause of the closing of the | Montoa school, which letter, Mr W. l E. H. states is false. Sir, in justice to the Committee, I am prepared to » produce the minute book, which will j prove Mr W. E. H.s contradiction I to be false. With regard to the • irregular hours, Mr W". B. H. states they were approved by the Committee. ' This, also, is false. It is not at all likely the Committee would approve i of irregular hours. I defy Mr W. ' B. H. to produce a written resolution ' to that effect. It is not in the power ' of the Committee to allow the teacher to keep irregular hours. Any more ; rubbish which may appear in the Herald, signed W. B. Howe, will be [ treated with supreme contempt by Your humble servant, i Eobert Edwards, Chairman of School Committee. Moutoa, October 8, 1880.
