The tender of Messrs Freeland & Mitchel of Palmerston, for the erection of the Bank of Australasia at Foxton, has been accepted, Tho price is £4<f>9, they having proved to the Bni.k authorities that in preparing their tender they made a clerical mistake of £50. Their tender was £419.
