Sydney, Thursday. It is announced that P. A. Jennings, who was Executive Comniissiouer, for the Sydney Exhibition, will be appointed a Kuight Commander of St. Michael and St. George, and that 13. John Davis, who was a prominent member of the New South Wales Commission, will be appointed a Commander of the same order. Melbouhne, Thursday. An animated discussion took place in tha Assembly last night, regarding an aiticle in the Argus on the new members of the Elections and Qualifications CommitUe. Mr Fineham protested against the article, which, he said, Wi'S a breach of privilege.
