• Mr Inspector Foulis has forwarded to us the result of the recent pupil teacher examinations, from which we glean the following particulars of interest to the County. Rose Nathan, of Feilding, was the only Manuwatu candidate who passed as a pupil teacher, she having gained 404 maiks out of a possible 640. Hannah Roache, of Feilding, passed hor examination at end of fitst year aB a pupil teacher with 42 L marks out of a possible 830, the minimum pas 3 number being 415. Papil Teachers in Manawatu who passed at end of third year. — Marks obtainable, 1180 ; minimum paBS number, 590 for boys, 530 for girlu.— Charles Bowater, Sandon, 734 ; Herbert Sanson, Sandon, CU. Candidates who passed in drawing. — Marks obtainable, 80 ; minimum pass number, 40.— Hannah Dillon (2nd year), Pulmerston School, 75 marks ; Emma Relf (2nd year), Palmerston School, 65; Taliesin Thomas (2nd year), Karere School, 45. Competitors from Manawatu who passed in Music. — Marks obtainable, 100 ; mimimum pass number, 50. — Hanna Dillon, (2nd year), Palmerston North School, 56 ; 8. R.
