I have had oertain repairs done I o .the road from Otaki to the - Beach towards Waikanae. This was rendered necessary by a notice from Mr Gear, re alteration of the ■ Boad. line. The bush felling on the Foxton Otaki ■road is being pushed on 'with again,, the '■natives having consented to allofer Bame to be carried on through the Horowhenua block. - Undor instruct ions from the Chairman, I have had the necessary notifications published in the County papers, and also sent to M» Didsbury a notice, for gazetting the roads from Foxton to the beach, and also front.
