The healthy tone lately ruling has been maintained during the ast week, although busings ha 3 been rather quiet.— Wheat— An improved feeling has lately been slowly but. cm ely manifesting itself, and the v lue of most '•biases have advauced. Milling is quoted at 3b 6d to 3s Bd, an I fir first class parce's 3a lOd to ss. The demand for seed samples his been moderately active, and sales of small lots have been trade at 4s 2<l to 4s 6d, according to qualify —Oats— The demand for milhng outs continues brisk, and pucels of this kind are saleable at Is 6d; g< od sttut samples for feed command Is 41 :u Is sd: low^r grades are quoted at Is Id to -'its 2d — Barley — I he market for this grain is unaltered. The quotations remai i rtt :2s 6d to 2s Hd for good malting— Potatoes-r-The value of these continue at 22s 6d to 255, with only an ordinary demand. — Produce — Butter, 9£d to lOd j cheese, id to 4^d ; hams and bacon, o}.|. Muttun is quoted at a sliarhi drop in prios to 2J-1 p r Ib. Beef is in gond demand, owiug to scarcity of supplies, at 30s prr lOOlbs, prime quulity. Pigs are also in demand
