♦ 300 Natives to Fence to-day. (from our own cobbebposdeht.) Wellington, Thursday, 7 p.m. It is reported from Hawera that about* 800 Maoris will tomorrow renew fencing operations, and forcibly resist the attempt to arrest them. The survey of the Waimate Plains is being pushed on vigorously, and the land is expected to be placed in the market shortly.
