Miss M'Phee' 8 Declaration.
I, Flora M'Phee, assistant teacher in Foxton school, do solemnly and sincerely declare that no children went up for examination from ray division, save those that were scheduled for Standards, and I make this declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of nh'Aot of the General Assembly of New Zealand entitled, "The Justices of the Peace Act, 1866 "—Flora M'Phee. Declared at Foxton this eleventh day of June, 1880, before me, Ernest S. Thynne, J.P. Misß M'Pheo's Letter to the Inspector. Foxton Sohool, June 25, 1880. R. Foulis, Esq. Deas Sir,— Within the last day or two, in thinking over matters counected with the charges brought against you by Mr Hulke, it has occurred to me that your having heard a few pupils who were not intended to be presented for Stan drtrd 1., during the reading lesson, may have led to your remark that) " The Infants read fairly." J have written in haste, to overtake tonight's mail. With compliments, believe me to be, Your obedient servant, Flora M'Phee.
