COMMERCIAL FREEMAN R. JaCKSON'S FORTNIGATLY STOCK REPORT.
Wednesday, June 30. The Hawera sale, held at the yards on the 24th, drew a large attendance of buyers. The faot that all the Messrs Mid* dlemas' stock was to be qtfered without reserve, was sufficient inducement to attract attention. The stock submitted for competition was of a superior quality, and showed to advantage ' the benefit of good breeding*, although I think the prices, for the bent sorts was not in proportion to those obtained for the inferior cattle. On the whole the sale was successful, every lot being sold under the hammer, and the vendors being satisfied with tho results. Tho yards today were overcrowded with cattle.
