Colonial produce. — The latest London telegrams advise us of 1,650,000 quarters of wheat being, afloat for, Great Britain, whioh figures show that a large reduction upon late shipments from American ports ia taking place; a result, doubtless, of the near approach of their harvest, which commence* next month, aid of stocks being light. The London 'market, is declining, while in Adelaide wheat is quoted as low as 49* 6d per 41)61b5. The local market for flour shows a weakening tendency, prices ranging from £10 to £10 ids per ton ; atocka continue heavy. Chickwheat is worth 3s, but there are no transactions to record, while stocks in hand are large. Only a limited sale exists for maize ; New South Wales may he quoted at 3s, and New Zealand at 3s 6d. Portions' of late shipments of 00 ts remain unsold, and we hare no alteration in values to report, holders asking from Is 8d per bushel Bran is worth 13 per ton, pollard L 4 10s, but no quantities of either could be got rid of; oatmeal, LlO 15s. Potatoes continue to arrive very freely ; the maximum value per ton is 52a, for prime samples. For cheese there is no sale; its outside worth is 54 to 5 Jd. Hams and bacon — The low prices ruling for fresh meat has destroyed the sale to a large extent ; in tho meantime a few lots have been soli at 9d to Is for first-class quality ; the latter is for English, in cloth, via Sydney. Fresh butter, Is 2d per lb ; salt do, no demand ; a littlo of good quality has been disposed of at Bd, in consequence of no fresh butter being obtainable.— N.Z. Times.
