The finest descriptions aie not ■unable at over Is 3d to Is 4d, whilst feei> jug sorts are being offered at Is to Is 2J. F:rst-claas samples of malting barley are saleable at 3a 3d, but the quantity offering of this quality is very small.. Other descriptions range from Is 6d to 2s 6d. Potatoes are being offered at 25s to 27> 6d, with* o"t finding any anxiom buyers. The want of private storage for this esculent appears t to prevent any considerably business being enrddd through.
