LICENSING COURT.
Wednesday, June 2, 1880. j (Before R. Ward, Esq., K.M., Chairman, and J. W. Gower, A. Burgess, and F. Hobinson, Ksq's., Commissioners ) whyte's hotel. The license for this hotel was granted without remark. futter's hotel. In regard to the license for this hotel, the Chairman stated that it was within the knowledge of the Court that disturbances and irregularaties had occurred in the past at or near the hotel, and he warned the applicant to be more careful in future. Application granted. howe's hotel. Mr Hawkins applied for a license on behalf of Mr C. Howe. In reply to a question, Constable M'Aiiulty said that the same remarks that the Chairman of the Bench had made in regard to Mr Futter's hotel, applied to Mr HoAve's hotel. Application granted. Mr Ward requested the constable to bring immediately under the notice of the Court any irregularities that occurred at either of the two latter hotels, so that for the benefit of the license holders and the public the matter might be enquired into at nee.
