* Wellington, Thursday, 7 p.m. The Eailway Commissioners leave town this evening for the West Coast, to make further examination of various proposed routes for the Welling- / ton-Foxton railway. They go first to Pahautanui, and afterwards to Palmerston. A man was run over by a train on the Auckland line to-day. He got both legs smashed, and only lived a few hours. Deceased was married *only on Sunday last. The extension of the Wairarapa railway to G re) town is to be opened for traffic tOMnorrow. The Hinemoa left for Napier this morning, to bring down the Governor.
