TT IS hereby publicly notified that 1 it is the intention of the above Council, at its next meeting, on Thursday, the 20th of May, to^ strike : a general rate of one shilling in the ■ £on the Annual Value of all rateable ( properties in the County of Manawa- ; tv, and that such rate is for the 1 period of one year from the Ist day of April last to the 31st day of March, 1881. The Rate will be due and payable on the 21st day of May, at the office of the Council, at Foxton.
