SANDON RAILWAY CO.

A meeting of the Directors was held at Messrs. Thynne, Linton & Co's office on Tuesday last. Present — Messrs. Sanson (chairman), Thynne, Whyte, Gray, Perreau. The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. It was resolved to ask Mr J. N. Flower to audit the accounts of the Company. Accounts amounting to £20 6s 3d were passed for payment. Messrs. Thynne,' Whyte, and Gray, Avere appointed a committee to receive Mr Flower's report of the audit. Messrs M'Lennan, Gower, and Sanson were empowered to act as a Committee to arrange with Mr Hayns as to the survey. Letter read from Public Works Office, stating that it would be necessary to furnish complete working plans, sections, showing all the works proposed, before the Governor's approval could be recommended.
