John Hubbard, Conservatives ; and the Right Hon. G. J. Goschen, Liberal, I all of whom represented the consti- 1 tuency in the last Parliament. Galle, April 1. The P. and 0. Company's steamship Rydaspes, which was recently dieabtad has been repaired and has sailed for Australia. New York, April 1. It has been announced that a World's Exhibition will be held in this city in the spring of 1883. Melbourne, April 2. The Orient Company, and Messrs. Money, Wigram, & Co. hav^ notified their readiness to provide the neces-/ sary space for frozen meat in their steamers. The Peninsular and Oriental Company have the question under consideration. ' Adelaide, April 2. The revenue of South Australia for the past quarter amounts to £483,000.
