ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
+ At half-past nine last night, a man named Constantino endeavored id drown hiuiself hi the river at the lear 6f Howe's Hotel. He was pulled out by Mr. Howe, and placed in a room, Constable M'Anulty in th c meantime being sent for. He, however, managed to get out, and rushed to the river again. He was pulled out once more, and taken to the lockup. Constantine is an A inei'i - oan, and has been employed painting the trucks.
