At the Coroner's inquest to-day on the body of the man Campbell, who fell down dead on the Inst trip of the Go-Ahead to this port, the medical evidence showed that deceased was suffering from heart disease. The Railway Commission was opened to-day, but transacted no business of importance. Messrs Downie and Mitchell, both of the Hansard staff, are appointed respectively secretary and shorthand writer. The Minister of Public Works leaves for the W T est Coast of tho South Island this evening.
